The promotion of legislation and federal regulations that will implement new national programs that are fair and open to chiropractic practitioners and patients in the US Congress and all US states and territories remains a difficult and daunting task. ABCA recognizes and embraces a profound obligation to the profession and the public to continue to expand the rights of chiropractic practitioners and patients.
Medicare
H.R. 539 / S. 106, live in the U.S. Senate and House right nowwould provide chiropractic coverage in Medicare for millions of America’s seniors. Patients will benefit when chiropractic physicians can practice to the fullest extent of their state licensure.
The bill adds no new services to Medicare. It simply allows patients to see a DC for services already covered and included in their state license.
